It’s true…I am more than a little behind on my blogging, but in honor of my very first Pope High School senior’s birthday tomorrow - Chloe Dunmire, here’s a little behind the scenes for you!!

Happy Birthday Chloe!!!!   I hope that senior year has been treating you right and I really cannot wait to hear about Homecoming!!  I hope it’s still what you mentioned to me earlier…I’m keeping quiet though.   Assuming it’s still secret worthy.  ;)

I’m a little behind with this “Behind the Scenes / Preview.”  I actually had North Gwinnett High’s Katie Baselj & her family’s Premier Order Session this morning!  I guess technically, this preview is for all of you since Katie and her family have already seen the images, but I do have one surprise for them…some other fun shots that I was able to capture during our time together.  :D  Enjoy this Preview for now and be sure to come back for more from this gorgeous session.  (I might be a little biased)  ;)

I probably should explain this one….some very, very, incredibly loud trains kept coming by and seemed to enjoy making

their presence known every time they passed.

One thing I learned about Katie, she is the master of silly expressions!!  :D

And she always has a way of making you laugh and smile!

It’s rare that I have a senior from more than an hour away come to me to photograph their Senior Portraits, but Brooke did exactly that!  and had the fabulous idea of incorporating her love for the show “Mad Men” into the session!!  This was a dream session for me!!!

I get to show Brooke all of her gorgeous images this weekend during her Image Premier / Order Session, but for now you all can see her Behind the Scenes Preview!!

You have to come back for more of this session!!  You won’t want to miss this – I promise!  :)

I quickly learned that Brooke often busts out some random dance moves!

Just as quickly as she breaks out her dance moves, she turns on this gorgeousness!  Gotta love it!  ;)

Our session happened to be on the same weekend as Atlanta Pride and Brooke insisted on having her pic with

the balloons because they matched her dress so perfectly.  :D

Then we moved inside the hotel and the styled portion of her session – the “Mad Men” inspired portion.  I LOVEEEEEE these!!

I wasn’t sure that this shoot would ever happen.  We’d been planning since last year…literally.  We had husbands building spinning wheels and aunts making custom tulle skirts and tutus.  We had model recasts and location changes.  We had to postpone three different times due to weather and oh yeah…the police showed up on the day of the shoot!

So you can see, it’s like the little engine that could – except it’s “Once Upon a Summer” and here is your sneak peek…

This Sunday, Parkview High’s Class of 2013 Graduate, Alex Osborn leaves for Colorado and the United States Air Force Academy!!

Soooo, what does one do when leaving home??  Why take more senior portraits of course…duh!  ;)

ok, ok, I kid, but only sort of, because that’s exactly what we did last weekend!

Greater Atlanta Christian’s Kayla Puzas is probably used to all sorts of temperatures being a soccer player, but this morning was quite a different game!  :)  Hair, makeup, wardrobe, and jewelry changes!  Lots of laughs and oh yeah…lots of wind!  We probably could have been happy with less wind, but Kayla modeled like a pro!  

And of course, I couldn’t have done it without her mom and grandmother!  I had such a blast with these ladies!  

Can’t wait to see them all again soon!

My very first Prince Avenue Christian School Senior, Class of 2013 – Candace O’Neal, braved some pretty cold temperatures and not to mention was probably up at 4 am that morning so we could be shooting by sunrise!

Her boyfriend David was such a trooper that day too, but you can’t tell me that he didn’t enjoy himself and have a little fun!  ;)

Abigail is my first Peachtree Ridge High School Senior!  She was also my first Class of 2013 Senior in the year 2013.  I don’t often get to shoot my girls in January, but we had a random warm January weekend…it was 75 degrees!!  It was just what we needed and it was perfect!
