I can’t believe that this upcoming week will be graduation for my 2014 seniors.  So many of these girls I met almost a year ago and it’s so sad to me how quickly that time has gone by.  I’m sure that they feel the same way as this week approaches and they look back at their senior year.

Back in February, on a very chilly morning, North Paulding High’s Lipi and I met for her senior portraits.  She and her mom drove over an hour to have me photograph her sunrise session and for that I’m so truly thankful!  We had been planning her senior portraits since last summer, but after 3 reschedules, here we were on that cold February morning.  You would never know looking at these images how truly chilly it was, because Lipi made it all look effortless.

I think that we can all agree how incredibly stunning Lipi is in her sari, but then I am equally as in awe of her images with each outfit change.

Seriously!!  Check out these!!   

And thanks to her mom for the last minute suggestion of using this hat – isn’t it perfect!?!?  ♥ ♥ ♥

I can’t finish up Lipi’s post without acknowledging her grandfather.  I often have grandparents at order sessions, but none as entertaining as Lipi’s grandfather.  He had me laughing the entire time!  At the same time though, I saw how much he adored his granddaughter and appreciated her beauty.  I’ll never forget him!  Just a sweet, sweet man.

Lipi, I hope the wait was worth it!  Every time I look back on your session, not only do I see gorgeous images, but I remember the fun we had that day!

“I never really thought about senior pictures until a photography company came to my school to talk to my class about senior pictures.  They described how they went about the process inside a studio and I realized it wasn’t for me.  What I did realize was that I was interested in taking pictures to capture 2014, my senior year.  I spent a majority of my free time searching for the perfect photographer who would allow me to venture outside of a background inside a studio.  I came across Tricia Toker’s website and instantly fell in love with her work and I knew I wanted her to do my pictures!  We had a chance to meet in person and that is when we decided to set up a date.  We were in constant communication and she helped me choose a location, outfits, and even how to do my hair and makeup.  I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous because I have never taken pictures with a photographer before, but when the day came my worries went away.  Tricia made me feel super comfortable and beautiful.  You could tell that she wanted every shot to be perfect and even showed me a few to make sure I loved them also!  I have no negative things to say because the experience was absolutely perfect.  If it was up to me I would relive this day over and over again.  I know that I will never forget this day that has helped my senior year be memorable.”

“I have one older son, and he never talked to me about senior pictures, so when Lipi brought it up it was a new experience for me.  Anytime she is interested in a product or service she takes her time and does her research until she finds what she was looking for.  I could tell she put a lot of time and effort into looking for a photographer because when she showed me Tricia’s website, she explained why she wanted her to do the pictures (even though she didn’t have to because the pictures posted on her website were outstanding).  Lipi contacted Tricia herself and I allowed her to handle the whole process with Tricia.  All I had to do was help choose a location and date and Lipi and Tricia handled the rest.  I do have to say Tricia did a great job making sure I was informed by sending me emails.  When the day came Lipi instantly felt comfortable with Tricia and so did I.  It was very obvious that Tricia knew what she was doing and she even came prepared with a few extra accessories that she thought would look great with Lipi’s outfits.  She was very professional and I truly believe her kindness made Lipi feel comfortable, which resulted in great shots.  If we had a chance to redo this whole process I wouldn’t because everything went smoothly and perfectly. I 100% recommend going to Tricia for senior pictures because the whole experience for my daughter was amazing!”

I cannot wait for tomorrow’s Image Premier Order Session!  I’m not kidding when I tell you that North Paulding High’s Lipi Chokshi has been waiting for months for these senior portraits!!
