View / Edit Comments“I first came across Tricia on a blind internet search for senior photographers. Once I saw her work, I knew she had to be my senior photographer. Luckily, my mother agreed! My shoot was about a year in the making, but Tricia remained in contact with us throughout the whole process- always sending us little notes and ideas or pinning to my Pinterest board. I was incredibly impressed with how thorough she was with location-scouting, even though she wasn’t familiar with my area! On the day of the shoot, she made me feel at ease; I felt like I was just hanging out with my best friends. Everything came together beautifully and I am forever thankful to Tricia for capturing this moment in time. I would do it again in a heartbeat.”

View / Edit CommentsI’ve been so fortunate to have some of the sweetest seniors and Natalie is no exception. My very first senior from Blessed Trinity was quite the treat. Not only is she a beauty but has some big plans for next year when she heads off to University of Florida to become a nurse.
Looking back on the pictures now, you’d never know how incredibly cold it was that morning. Natalie braved it though (as did her mom Kim) and thank goodness she did, because these are some of my favorites images. And her outfits!!! So much wardrobe envy, especially her last outfit - ♥♥♥♥♥ :)

View / Edit CommentsMegan has such an infectious personality. You don’t have to be around her 5 mins without feeling like she’s been your best friend for years – seriously! I absolutely adore her! And just as equally, I adore her parents!! They made me feel so welcome and so at home!! I spent hours talking with them at both the order session and order delivery!! I could have spent all day there if they had let me! ;) It’s not often you get to meet a family so involved in one another’s lives. Everyone is generally so busy these days, so to witness such a close family was truly an honor. You could really see the love this family has for one another. It was really very special and I am so grateful to have met each one of them!
Ok, side note….I often joke about my seniors resembling celebrities. I swear, the entire session I was trying to figure out who Megan reminded me of and finally afterwards – I figured it out! She’s a cross between Mackenzie Lintz, a young Elizabeth McGovern and then of course, throw a little Snow White into the mix! Voila! Megan meets a collage of celebrities: young, old, and cartoon! HA! :) Seriously though, do you all see it!?

View / Edit Comments“While doing research on senior photographers, my mom found Tricia. I wanted my pictures to be special and to reflect my personality and one look at the pictures she had taken of other girls and I knew she was perfect! She captured the girls so beautifully and I immediately let her know that I wanted her to do my pictures. I also let her know that I was interested in being a spokesmodel. I was definitely excited because I love having my pictures taken but I was still a little nervous since I had never done a professional photo shoot before, but Tricia was so great at helping me feel comfortable about everything! She was in constant contact with me throughout the whole process by helping me pick outfits, makeup, location and poses. When we first met, we hit it off and on the day of the shoot I was completely comfortable and couldn’t have been more excited! The entire day was filled with laughs, smiles, and a lot of dancing! If I could, I would redo the whole process because it was such a great experience. I felt so beautiful and had the time of my life. Tricia is an AMAZING person and photographer, she definitely knows what she is doing and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“If you are searching for a senior photographer that will capture the beauty of your daughter then you have found the perfect one. This was our first experience with a professional photographer and Tricia made it a wonderful and stress free process. When we met for the first time, Tricia truly listened to what Emily wanted and gave us examples and detailed instructions to help prepare. The day we spent with her was so much fun. Tricia is very talented and watching her work with Emily to capture her true personality was a blessing!”

View / Edit CommentsIf you know me, you already know that I don’t often stick to just the same few locations. I really enjoy having variety and checking out brand new spots to photograph my seniors. When Chloe’s mom, Suzanne, first told me that she had a few ideas on locations, I couldn’t wait to hear about them!! First, I got to see all that she envisioned on Pinterest, but then when we met at the location, I was beyond thrilled. Plus, you cannot help but love Suzanne when you meet her. One of my sweetest moms ever and so incredibly thoughtful. But let’s back up for a few…let’s talk about Suzanne’s Pinterest. She has Pinterest boards that rival the best of the best on Pinterest. She was like my planning twin! ;) Chloe is like most high school seniors these days, super, super busy. Fortunately though, Suzanne was more than happy to help Chloe plan and prepare for her senior portraits. It was really nice to see them together too. Not only do they look like sisters, and not mother and daughter, but you can really see the close bond they share. Super sweet.
Chloe has been dancing for most of her life and is as graceful as she is beautiful. I could photograph dancers all day. She also enjoys playing golf too! And she’ll be attending Birmingham Southern College in the fall. I truly cannot wait to see what the future holds for Chloe. Trust me when I tell you, she will accomplish great things!
Ok, I’ll stop babbling now and get to Chloe’s beautiful images…

We had so much fun together and she made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She does a great job working with you on your shoot so you don’t feel awkward. Her pictures truly reflect your personality and style. I loved how she worked so hard before the shoot to make sure she knew and understood exactly what I wanted so that the shoot would be exactly what I wanted it to be. I highly recommend Tricia to any senior who wants unique senior pictures to treasure forever. She truly is a talented photographer and a great person!”

View / Edit CommentsFrom our very first meeting, I knew that I was going to love photographing Alex’s senior portraits.
Both Alex and her mom Judy have so much style. Like tons. I can only hope a little rubbed off on me. ;) The outfits these two put together would make the Kardashian-Jenners drool. No joke! From scarf necklaces to stingray rings, I had serious accessory envy.
The fabulousness didn’t end there though, I was positively giddy when Judy told me the locations they had in mind.
Sit back and enjoy, because these aren’t your mama’s senior portraits, people – not even close.

“My experience with Tricia was absolutely perfect. From the start, Tricia has been professional and fabulous. Before meeting, I was a little bit hesitant just because I had never really done anything like this. I was soon relieved after we hit it off and soon became best friends. Throughout the whole process, Tricia has made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. She worked with deadlines and my crazy schedule and I couldn’t thank her enough for that. I had such a fun time at my shoot and the pictures exceeded my wildest expectations. I would highly recommend Tricia to any senior who wants a professional, personal, and fun photographer. Thanks for letting me “slay the scene” with you for the day!”

“From the first time we contacted Tricia Toker Photography, we were treated with professionalism! Not only is she talented and creative, she knows how to run her business! She is organized, a fabulous coach and creative! She has a natural talent for making the girls feel relaxed through out the photo shoot. Megan had a really fun day, she felt beautiful and looked like a star! The final product was incredible. I am mostly impressed with the phone app too! I have used it a lot more than I thought I would to show our friends and family and to enjoy reminding me of what a great young lady we have and how she will be missed when she heads off to college. Thank you Tricia for a great experience!”

View / Edit CommentsIt’s always an honor when a high school senior travels to have me photograph their senior portraits. Bella attends Allatoona High School and had to travel all the way from Acworth – twice. The first time we tried to have her senior session, out of nowhere - rain. And not the quick out of the blue rain that’s here one second and gone the next second. Nope, not this time. It was the nasty stick around for hours drizzle and gloomy dark skies. :( I don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed. Nowhere in the forecast showed any rain that morning and even the radar showed no rain exactly where we were, at that exact moment. The rain didn’t let up though, so we had to postpone the session. Then, our next date, again sunshine in the forecast and for the first stop, that’s exactly what we had. Then outfit number two, the clouds rolled in and the winds picked up a little. Not gonna lie, panic started creeping in a little. Bella was a trooper through it all though and despite me bumping into a curb and totally ruining my tire, we all made it through the session! And I couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome. I absolutely love Bella’s images!! Let’s be honest though, Bella’s beautiful smile and super sweet personality could brighten up any gloomy day! :)

View / Edit CommentsWant to see strong and courageous…this is Meredith. Without a doubt, one of the strongest young ladies that I have ever met.
We don’t often meet people that make us take a long, hard look at ourselves and realize that some of the things that we think are important, really aren’t so significant after all. We don’t often get to meet people that face challenges every day and yet they put on a happy face every time we see them.
Meredith did all this and more every time I spoke to her or met with her. Without even trying or maybe even realizing it, Meredith touched my life in ways I’m sure she didn’t even realize, but I have to thank her. For her laughter, her resilience and for just being silly. And oh yeah, for telling me that having her senior portraits and going to see Katy Perry were the highlights of her senior year. That was pretty darn cool! ;)

View / Edit Comments“I was the one who led the search for a senior portrait photographer. Chloe, was overwhelmed with school work, so I was happy to take charge. I am extremely particular about how I spend my money. I want to receive the highest quality for my money and want the very best product, especially when it comes to capturing such an important moment in our daughter’s life. I found three photographers in the area who I considered to be the top in senior photography, and there are some amazing photographers. For me, there was something really special about Tricia’s work–the light, the softness, the sparkle in the girls’ eyes that beamed their personalities out of the pictures. Chloe loved Tricia’s work, so we contacted her.
Tricia and I began talking in mid-April and we shot in late May. In that period, I madly researched locations and outfit ideas. Tricia has great ideas on her Pinterest page. We used Pinterest to exchange ideas on everything from location, to outfits, makeup, hair and accessories. I wanted everything to be just right, so I created boards for each look. Tricia commented on colors and let me know what she thought looked great. It was so fun planning it and Chloe and I enjoyed all the anticipation up to the photo shoot. It was our little mother/daughter project, putting together cute ideas. One of the things that pleased me most, during this planning period, was Tricia’s excitement about the chosen location and her willingness to meet me there to check it out and meet with the necessary people.
My favorite memory from the day of the shoot was seeing how happy Chloe was. Tricia used makeup artist Laura Briscoe, and she made Chloe’s natural beauty radiate. I was worried that Chloe would be stiff and uncomfortable, but Tricia made her feel very relaxed and really knew how to connect with her to get some stunning images. Tricia has a demeanor and personality that make you feel comfortable, both mother and daughter.
Tricia was a consummate professional, and I had high expectations. Despite it being a very busy time in her life, being in the middle of closing on a new home and moving into that home, Tricia always made us feel that she was putting us first. She had also suffered an injury during that move, but she didn’t let it get in the way on the day of the shoot. I kept forgetting that she was hurt, because she had that “the show must go on” attitude.
Everything culminated in the Premier Order session. Chloe, her dad, and I met with Tricia. Tricia showed us a slide show that included some sweet and sometimes silly video out-takes from the photo shoot. I didn’t expect it to be as moving an experience as it was; I got teary eyed. The images were beyond our expectations and took my breath away.
Each step along the way–the planning, the day of the shoot, and the order session–was an entirely first class experience. I highly recommend Tricia!”

View / Edit CommentsHappy New Year everyone!!!!
I hope that you all had a wonderful and safe New Year’s Eve!!
I want to take a few minutes to share some highlights from 2014. It was such a wonderful year and I want to recognize those of you who helped make it so memorable!
Throughout the year, many of my seniors had images recognized by Senior Style Guide and Seniorologie!
I was fortunate enough to have two articles published in 2014. Writing articles wasn’t even something I thought of doing until this year and I have to admit, it was pretty cool! Thank you to Senior Style Guide and Denim+Grace!
One of Brooke’s images received “Runner Up” for the cover of Chic Critique Forum’s Chic Magazine. AND of course the moment I will probably do a happy dance forever, receiving my very first Cover, thanks to Brooke and Senior Style Guide!!
Lastly, the icing on 2014, finding out yesterday that I was named one of the “Top 25 Up & Coming Senior Photographers of 2014″ by The Twelfth Year!
Thanks again to everyone and I can only hope that 2015 will be able to top 2014!!!
