Chic Magazine {Issue 10} ~ Cover Contest

Today’s the day – the final day to enter the Chic Magazine Cover Contest!! This issue’s theme is Natural. I was really torn between two different images from this session with Brooke. sooo here it goes, my submission for Chic Critique Forum‘s Issue 10 Cover Contest!

Reema ~ High School Senior Portraits Review ~ Lilburn GA / Gwinnett County ~ {Atlanta, Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Lawrenceville Photographer}

“Lucky for me, my cousin Lizna had her senior pictures done by Tricia last year. When her pictures came out, I immediately applied to be a Senior Spokesmodel, and I’m so glad that I did. Tricia was constantly in touch with me even months before the shoot. It was evident that she was interested in making this shoot about me, and that is hands-down the best part about Tricia. Her passion extended far beyond photography to making this shoot something that I would be happy with. Her bubbly personality, of course, was the icing on top. We spent the day laughing and giggling even while facing freezing temperatures (okay, not that dramatic, but still cold). I recommend Tricia for any senior who wants to feel beautiful and look back at her pictures 50 years from now to see a true version of herself as a high-schooler. Tricia truly goes out of her way to please her girls, and her excitement about my pictures only makes me more anxious to see what’s coming! In short, Tricia’s photography is pure talent, but her personality is what I love most of all.”

“When Reema told me about Tricia, how she would like senior pictures to be done by her, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go with Tricia because I had never seen her work or knew very much about her. But when we had our first meeting, I really liked her in person & I was very much convinced by her work too. She knows how to make girls look really confident & their personality reflects in their pictures. I think that is very important & true talent. When Reema’s photo shoot was scheduled, unfortunately I had to go out of country. I’m really grateful to Tricia for looking after her & making her comfortable. Reema had a great time on her shoot, not like any other shoot where it’s really stressful: changing in between, make-up, poses not coming out right. She makes them so comfortable & that’s why their pictures look so natural. She knows how to make girls look beautiful inside & out. NOW that’s pure talent. Featured Session ~ Lipi ~ Acworth, Ga / Paulding County ~ {Atlanta, Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Lawrenceville Senior Photographer}

I can’t believe that this upcoming week will be graduation for my 2014 seniors. So many of these girls I met almost a year ago and it’s so sad to me how quickly that time has gone by. I’m sure that they feel the same way as this week approaches and they look back at their senior year.

Back in February, on a very chilly morning, North Paulding High’s Lipi and I met for her senior portraits. She and her mom drove over an hour to have me photograph her sunrise session and for that I’m so truly thankful! We had been planning her senior portraits since last summer, but after 3 reschedules, here we were on that cold February morning. You would never know looking at these images how truly chilly it was, because Lipi made it all look effortless.

I think that we can all agree how incredibly stunning Lipi is in her sari, but then I am equally as in awe of her images with each outfit change.

And thanks to her mom for the last minute suggestion of using this hat – isn’t it perfect!?!? ♥ ♥ ♥

I can’t finish up Lipi’s post without acknowledging her grandfather. I often have grandparents at order sessions, but none as entertaining as Lipi’s grandfather. He had me laughing the entire time! At the same time though, I saw how much he adored his granddaughter and appreciated her beauty. I’ll never forget him! Just a sweet, sweet man.

Lipi, I hope the wait was worth it! Every time I look back on your session, not only do I see gorgeous images, but I remember the fun we had that day!
