Where did the year go? Early Fall Recap: Melissa & Jamin / Crowder Family / Parker’s Birthday

Well, it’s November now and the year is flying by! I’m getting ready to start one of my busiest months having a session every weekend! Everyone wants to get pics done for their Christmas cards. I only hope the weather cooperates since we don’t have too many weekends to accomplish this!
Before I get too busy, I wanted to share some pics from sessions from the past few months that I haven’t had a chance to blog about yet.

First up, Melissa & Jamin. I really loved the location – lots of cool architectural elements. Melissa wanted to specifically do more night shots than day shots, which I have no problem with since I actually prefer those. I think we got some cool daytime ones though as well.

Next is the Crowder Family. I have always wanted to do a session at the fair. I was so excited when they liked the idea too. Shooting at a fair definitely has it’s challenges with all the different lights and movement. If you get it right though, you can end up with some beautiful pictures and lots of fun!

Lastly, I photographed my friend Melissa’s daughter’s birthday. I think I was more excited about this birthday than one of my own! It’s such a cute idea, that it made me want to be a little girl again. The party was held at Snip-its. The party includes all the little girls getting to play dress up, get their hair and make up done and then finally, ending with a walk down the runway. How fabulous is that?? :)
